The United World College in Mostar was established in 2006. It is governed by a College Board comprising of up to 13 members, representing the Founder (the Foundation Education in Action), college staff, parents, UWC International, alumni, and others.

Psychosocial/Wellbeing Counsellor Volunteer/Internship Position

UWC Mostar seeks dedicated and inspired individuals for a volunteer/internship position in the school year 2026/2027. UWC Mostar values candidates who are drawn to the particular educational experience of the United World Colleges, and to UWC Mostar’s unique mission within the movement.

We are looking for:

 Psychosocial/Wellbeing Counsellor Volunteer/Internship Position

The position is on a voluntary basis. Flights, housing, and health insurance are covered by the school.

As part of our commitment to the well-being of our students, UWC Mostar is looking for a volunteer for the academic year 2026-2027 to join our Wellbeing Department and work alongside the College Counsellor/Psychologist.

We are looking for people who have certification and work experience in social work, counselling, mental health, psychology, and/or psychotherapy.

This volunteer/internship position entails conducting one-on-one counselling sessions with our students and providing emotional support. This position is mostly appropriate for current master’s students in the fields of psychology, clinical social work or mental health counselling who are looking for an internship.

Supervision by a mental health professional will be provided.
