At UWC Mostar, Outdoor Education is not just a program—it’s a cornerstone of our experiential learning philosophy and a vibrant expression of our community spirit. Nestled in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s breathtaking landscapes, our outdoor experiences are designed to connect students with nature, challenge their boundaries, and cultivate resilience, teamwork, and leadership.

We ensure that every student takes part in at least one outdoor adventure each term, offering a meaningful break from academic life and a powerful opportunity for personal growth.

Our diverse program includes:

Hiking through the awe-inspiring mountain trails of Velež, Hum, or Fortica
Canoeing on pristine, crystal-clear rivers of Neretva, Buna, Bunica or Trebižat
Cycling across scenic countryside routes
Climbing and Via Ferrata on rugged rock faces
Camping in remote, stunning wilderness areas
Team-building activities that forge deep, lasting bonds
