Students do not apply directly to UWC Mostar, but rather through a National Selection Committee in their own country. Scholarships are also disbursed through the National Committee. The NC system is one of the things that makes UWCs unique.
There are national committees and selection contacts in 150 countries, so the majority of students can apply through this system. It is a unique system which enables students to be selected from within their own communities and cultures. The UWC National Committee of your country will be looking for the students who have the potential to benefit the most from a UWC experience. There will usually be a written application and some form of interview. You might also take part in group activities and community service, an examination and perhaps even a weekend camp. Interested students should contact the National Committee of their country of origin or residence. The application process varies across countries to ensure that it is applicable and relevant to the local culture and educational system in that country.
